I've noticed that some spambot has gotten ahold of my site, and started commenting on one of the older entries. It seems like it's staying in the shadows for now, adding links to a website that has obviously been created by a grammar program. Luckily for me, Symphony offers an Akismet Campfire Service, and so stopping those spam comments is pretty easy. Hopefully, it'll work like I want it to and I don't have to start blacklisting IP addresses.
To install the Akismet CS, download the .zip here, and sign up for an account on Wordpress.com to get an API key. Then copy the contents of the .zip to your site's campfire directory (FTP required), and then install and activate it in the Symphony Campfire page. Then, change the comment event on your pages from Post Comment to Akismet Post Comment.
